淘宝 is  the ebay of China. You can buy almost anything here. Read the reviews carefully and check the credibility of the seller before you make a purchase.

京东商城 is a website famous for selling electronic appliances, such as ACs, refrigerators, computers, etc.

去哪儿 is a useful website for travelling around in China, where you can access the  information necessary to plan a trip, such as airplane  and train tickets.

黄桥 is a great webiste, containing the Mandarin Chinese-English Talking Dictionary and Etymology Exploration. The hand input function conveniently allows you to look up characters by drawing.
